Women's Guilds

Women's Guilds

“For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows your journey through times of testing. The Lord your God has been with you and you have lacked nothing.”
Deuteronomy 2:7

The Women’s Guilds meet periodically for service, fellowship, and devotions. It connects, challenges, comforts and supports the women of our congregation. God’s power changes lives, and as we obey the great commission by reaching out with God’s love to others, we can make a difference! We combine women’s social needs with the call to discipleship. Our Connect Groups deepen both relationships with God and one another.

The Women’s guilds gather to connect the women of our community in the journey of a wholehearted pursuit of Jesus. Together we love Him, ourselves, and one another. We are women connecting hearts throughout every stage of life, pursuing identity in God, cultivating it within ourselves, and fostering it in others. We celebrate together with monthly gatherings, mentoring, friendship groups, interest groups, retreats, and pastoral care.

Members of these guilds get involved through activities like providing coffee and treats after the service, running Thrifty Treasures (our resale shop), assisting with the food pantry or Family Promise (our housing of the homeless), contributing care kits and clothing to D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s, sending cards to shut-ins or performing any number of other service projects as needed.
